Stiebel Eltron opens UK base

GERMAN HVAC manufacturer Stiebel Eltron has launched its first UK base in Wirral and has put local man Mark McManus at the helm.
As Stiebel Eltron UK's newly appointed managing director, Mark McManus will promote the firm's range of hot water, central heating, air-conditioning and renewable technology products.

Wirral was chosen as the location for Stiebel Eltron UK because of its good transport links to Ireland, where many of its existing customers are.

Founded in 1924 by Dr Theodor Stiebel, the German HVAC manufacturing firm is now run by the founder's sons Frank Stiebel and Dr Ulrich Stiebel.

Dr Ulrich Stiebel attended the official launch party on May 16 at the company's Wirral offices.

Stiebel Eltron International GmbH generates a total earnings of 400 million Euro. Its largest production facilities and group headquarters are found in Holzminden, Germany.
