Spirotech to sponsor first Women Installers Together conference

Spirotech, a market leader in system protection and water conditioning, will be sponsoring the first ever Women Installers Together conference on Wednesday September 13 2017 in Marylebone, London.

Corine Kuijpers, sales representative at Spirotech

The conference, led by founder of Stopcocks Women Plumbers, Hattie Hassan, is the first ever to bring together female plumbers and heating engineers from across the UK, with the intention of overcoming isolation and building an identity as women installers in a male-dominated industry.

Spirotech will be one of six sponsors, providing branded cupcakes, stationery and notepads to the event. Spirotech sales representative, Corine Kuijpers, will be offering live demonstrations of some of the brand’s domestic product range including the pioneering SpiroVent RV2 deaerator. Also at the event will be the SpiroTrap MB3, Spirotech’s renowned offering in the field of dirt separation, as well as the brand’s latest innovation, the MBC1.

Ms Kuijpers first met Ms Hassan and the female plumbers of Stopcocks last September to deliver a presentation on Spirotech and its products, and has since maintained a strong relationship with the company.

Ms Kuijpers said: “The conference is a perfect opportunity for Spirotech to support an important issue within our industry, whilst also giving us the chance to showcase a selection of our products. Spirotech shares many of the same values with Stopcocks, with a mutual focus on quality of customer service.

“We strive to stay progressive and would like to see more women join the trade. Much like our deaeration and dirt separation products, our sponsorship of the WIT conference is one of many examples of how Spirotech is at the forefront of innovation in an ever evolving industry.”
