Sirius three is Potterton Commercial’s most comprehensive range of boilers ever, including eight floor standing and seven wall hung boilers, suitable for major public sector projects and larger, high-end developments.
As well as smart new aesthetics and lightweight stainless steel heat exchangers, the boilers are supplied with state-of-the-art Siemens controls with simple descriptive display and easy-to-use programming functions. The integrated cascade function means that up to 16 boilers can be managed by the controller.
The boilers have a wide modulation range of up to 9:1, which reduces constant on/off cycling, improving efficiency and boiler longevity. The low NOx – under 24.7 mg/kW – minimises the impact of the boilers on the environment. The floor standing boilers have a gross seasonal efficiency of up to 97.5 per cent and the wall hung models of up to 97.3 per cent, making them highly efficient and cost effective to run.
The wall hung range is available in outputs of 50, 60, 70, 90, 110, 130 and 150kW. The boilers are very compact, with the powerful 130 and 150kW models having the same footprint as the 110kW.
The floor standing models, in outputs of 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, 150, 200 and 250kW, have been designed to pass through 700mm wide doorways, making them easier to position when space is at a premium. The larger outputs have casters on the bottom, making them easier to move.
The boilers can be integrated with solar thermal, biomass and buffer tanks for sustainable solutions that can improve efficiencies and reduce carbon emissions in line with government targets.
