Rettig ICC appoints new ceo

Neil MacPherson has been appointed as chief executive officer of Rettig ICC, the European manufacturer of the Myson and Purmo brand products.

Previously deputy ceo, he replaces former ceo Markus Lengauer.

Mr MacPherson joined Rettig UK as managing director in 2004 and was appointed deputy ceo in 2007. He has more than 10 years of knowledge of and experience in the UK and European heating industries. Prior to joining the heating and plumbing sector, he worked for British American Tobacco, Avon Cosmetics and Black & Decker in both the UK and Australia.

He will be based in Gateshead and will report to Hans Sohlström, president and ceo of the Rettig Group.
