Heating and Ventilating

Register now for The HVAC & Refrigeration Show 2018

Registration is now open for the UK’s only national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors.

The HVAC & Refrigeration Show is set to take place at ExCeL, London from January 23-25 2018.

A number of exciting exhibitors have been lined up, including manufacturers, with more joining by the day.

It has the support of all the major trade associations including FETA, BSRIA, BESA, REFCOM and the IOR, which will be holding its annual conference at the show.

The event has also secured some major sponsors and brand partners, including Daikin Applied UK, Fujitsu, Haier and Toshiba.

In addition to seeing leading companies exhibiting top brand products, visitors will benefit from a number of exciting feature areas:

  • Seminars - The HVAC & Refrigeration Show will feature CPD accredited seminar programmes in two seminar theatres – the HVACR Theatre and the Training & Skills Theatre, sponsored by Toshiba.
  • Industry Insight Series - There will be a three-day series of live talks and discussions on future industry issues, presented by a panel of guest speakers.
  • 2018 SkillFRIDGE Launch - The 2017 national SkillFRIDGE final will take place in November at The Skills Show, ready for the 2018 series to launch at The HVAC & Refrigeration Show.
  • Working lunches - The show will also feature a series of three working lunches in the new ‘Business Hub’. Sponsors will be invited to give a short pre-lunch talk and network informally with guests over lunch. Daikin Applied UK has already signed up to sponsor the working lunch on the 24 January, and will also be sponsoring exhibitor drinks on the 23 January in the Pyramid Bar.

Improving performance, saving money and time

RAB Screen will be at the show with its air intake screens, which are easily fitted to the outside of dry air coolers, chillers, air handling units, condensers, compressors, cooling towers and generator intakes to protect the equipment from incoming debris. The company says that this saves money by extending the life of disposable filters, saves as much as 30 percent of input energy on chiller coils, and saves labour by reducing cleaning and chemical use.

Smiths Brothers Stores, one of the largest and oldest independent merchants operating from the UK, will have a range of pipework, valves, air conditioning and all associated ancillaries and fittings on display from leading suppliers.

Commenting on the importance of the event, marketing manager Adrian Smith, stated: “As a merchant operating solely out the UK, the market obviously remains extremely important to our business. However, we do take notice of development and trends overseas which may influence the marketplace we operate in. We remain committed to supporting our customers in the air conditioning and refrigeration market.”

In addition, Conex Bänninger, a leading global manufacturer of fittings and valves, is exhibiting at the event for the first time with its innovative air conditioning and refrigeration product range. Visitors will be able to see the new >B< MaxiPro, a further progression of the company’s press fitting technology, engineered to withstand the higher pressures of air-conditioning and refrigeration applicants.

Bill Barlow, UK business unit director for OEM and ACR said: “The HVAC & Refrigeration Show is a fantastic event to celebrate the long-awaited launch of >B< MaxiPro in the UK and it’s a great opportunity for attendees to see Conex Bänninger’s acr solutions first hand, alongside the expertise of our product team.”

Sanhua Refrigeration Industrial Group is a leading HVAC-R manufacturer of controls and components, with a global footprint and 30 years of experience. The company will be at the show to discuss its recently developed solenoid coil for MDF solenoid valves, which is said to make the coils more effective and save installation time.

Also, exhibiting for the first time is Arcus, a group of companies specialising in providing comprehensive and customer-focused facilities management solutions to the high street. Building on strong relationships with clients and service partners, Arcus has worked closely to engineer intelligent cost-saving solutions which significantly reduce facilities management spending.
