Powrmatic launches heat load calculation app

Powrmatic has launched a heat loss app, designed primarily to help heating engineers calculate the heating load for a simple rectangular building such as a factory, warehouse or retail 'shed'.

The app can be used for buildings of brick, block or sheet construction under a pitched roof with natural air infiltration.

It is believed to be first of its kind from a UK manufacturer to be available on both Apple and Android platforms, giving heating contractors increased flexibility while also increasing their onsite productivity. All calculations are saved on the device and can be emailed to the office from site for fast production of quotes.

The app can be downloaded free of charge from iTunes and the Google Play Store.
