NG Bailey wins £26.5million contract at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
The contract, worth around £26.5million to the company during a two and a half year period, will see the company design, install and commission all m&e services, working alongside its specialist off-site division, to manufacture in the region of 400 multi-service corridor modules; 10 mechanical and electrical risers as well as rooftop & basement plant modules.

'We are delighted to have been appointed to work on this prestigious project,' said Mark Porcelli, operations director for NG Bailey in the east of Scotland.

'As parts of our business join forces to offer an integrated approach, it gives us a distinct opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of our capability and the value this approach can bring to the client'

NG Bailey will start delivering the main project work later this year with a completion date due for September 2012.

'This win further positions us as a leading player in the healthcare sector,' added Mike Darlington, the company's North & Scotland managing driector.

'We have a proven track record of delivering healthcare work, for example, the St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals Trust PFI project, which I am sure helped to highlight us as the best candidate for this job.'

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the largest hospital within NHS Grampian. It is situated on a self-contained 125-acre site at Foresterhill, to the north west of the City centre. The new Emergency Care Centre will provide patient care, covering accident and emergency, acute medical assessment, ward accommodation and a primary care out of hours service.
