New video details healthy building ventilation strategy

Aircuity, specialist in optimising ventilation, has released a new video to help building owners and operators create a healthy environment for returning occupants safely.

Research shows that buildings with poor indoor air quality (IAQ) – inadequate ventilation, filtration or humidity control – can promote the spread of airborne bacterial or viral infections. The video walks through everything to know about a holistic approach to achieving and maintaining a healthy building (offices and learning and gathering environments), which starts with a platform to measure, manage and communicate air quality.

Aircuity chief executive, Dan Diehl, said. “It takes a combination of technologies strategically implemented to have a healthy air quality, but you can’t manage what you don’t measure and you need to measure to know exactly what is going on in the space. This year we are celebrating our 20th anniversary in optimising ventilation based on multiple air quality parameters and the knowledge we gained over that time allows us to be the gold standard in accurate, reliable sensing and control. We have been doing this in critical lab and operating environments for decades and implemented the multi-parameter demand office system in 2007.”

The Aircuity platform uses patented technology and an in-house calibration laboratory to ensure accuracy of sensing and the best life cycle cost over other discrete sensing.
