New MD for Elta Fans

Elta Fans has appointed David Osgerby as its new managing director.
New MD for Elta Fans
The former general manager at Terex Corporation, doubled the size of his business unit and was promoted to Construction Equipment Group VP of operations and strategy in 2004 with responsibility for UK and European factories.

As the md of Elta Fans David Osgerby aims to double the size of the business. Osgerby said: “This will mean maintaining a clear customer focus and competing with the best players in the industry globally. He said he would be 'introducing systematic continuous improvement via a lean manufacturing change, total quality and a process management approach to new product development, whilst growing distribution from an already sound base”.

From its Fareham, Hampshire and Kingswinford sites in the West Midlands, Elta supplies fans and associated accessories and controls for commercial, industrial and domestic buildings.

To get the infrastructure in place to help him achieve this, Damian Buxton, previously financial controller of Elta Fans, was promoted last year to the finance director post, operating out of the company’s Fareham office. Damian said: “My focus will be on developing our business reporting function and operating more in a strategic financial capacity, working with both customers and suppliers to look at ways in which we can further improve.”
