Monodraught expands its ventilation range to include MVHR solutions

Monodraught has significantly extended its sustainable natural and hybrid ventilation range by launching a suite of Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery solutions.

Monodraught has significantly extended its sustainable natural and hybrid ventilation range by launching a suite of Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery solutions.

A key strength for Monodraught is in education where the company’s products can deliver real dividends in terms of lower energy and carbon footprint. They also enable improved environments for students and teachers.

This launch allows the firm to offer a full range of products to suit school building and retrofitting projects, particularly in relation to the Priority School Building Programme (PSBP). MVHR can be installed in areas such as dining rooms, canteens, bathrooms and indeed classrooms. This solution complements the company’s current Hybrid Thermal Mixing (HTM) product range.

Monodraught’s MVHR systems are designed to simultaneously supply tempered fresh air to any built space ensuring the correct oxygen levels are maintained whilst expelling stale air. By recovering heating or cooling energy to temper incoming air, the systems are able to significantly reduce power consumption and associated building running costs.

Monodraught can provide a wide range of configuration options such as ducted or un-ducted, installed above a ceiling or with a fascia below. We offer 10 models that can supply from 10l/s to 1000l/s, virtually any control integration option required and either electric pre-heaters or integrated low temperature hot water coils. Filters are supplied as standard with the flexibility to upgrade to higher specifications. In a nod to more modern and inspiring classroom design, various colours can be supplied to suit the classroom aesthetics.

Monodraught is committed to offering a cradle-to-grave service across its product range and can manage the whole solution from design through to installation and maintenance. The firm has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing low energy, low carbon, and sustainable solutions for over 40 years, providing peace of mind for architects, contractors and end-users.
