Lochinvar completes sales force restructure

Lochinvar has completed a restructure of its sales team in line with the company’s continued growth plans and to provide additional support to its customers.

Left to right: Scott Mason, Liam Elmore and Dave Slevin.

The reshaped sales team includes the creation of two senior regional sales manager roles, with Dave Slevin and Scott Mason taking these new positions, and reporting to Lochinvar’s sales director Liam Elmore.

This revamped structure is designed to increase the company’s UK coverage and supports the launch of a series of new products in recent months, including high efficiency, low NOx boilers; stainless steel water heaters and additions to its range of air source heat pumps.

Mr Elmore noted: “Providing excellent levels of customer service has always been seen as an extremely important aspect of the Lochinvar business. We have therefore increased our number of customer-facing staff and created two new senior roles that will give the team greater regional focus and strategic support.”

Previously, Lochinvar’s 10 area sales managers reported directly to Mr Elmore, who has responsibility for the whole of the UK and Ireland. He can now call on the support of the two new regional managers, but will continue to manage key accounts and major projects, in addition to assisting with strategic company planning.

Mr Slevin has been appointed regional sales manager for the North and has taken on supervisory responsibility for five area sales managers. He brought more than 30 years’ industry experience to Lochinvar when he joined as area sales manager in July 2018 for London East and has now relocated because of this new appointment.

As well as being regional sales manager for the South, Mr Mason will also continue to be responsible for central London specifications.

He first joined Lochinvar in 2009 as a technical support apprentice straight from school. The company sponsored him through a three-year advanced apprenticeship, which led to a Higher National Certificate in Engineering, and then on to a Higher National Diploma at Warwick College before receiving a full degree at the University of Northampton.

Mr Mason was one of the first engineers employed by a manufacturer to secure a top three finish in the prestigious CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year Awards in 2016.

“These important senior appointments complete our plans for putting the right support structure behind our extended product portfolio and means we can now deliver an increasingly wide range of options to the market,” said Mr Elmore.
