Installers step up to the Geberit Challenge

This November the Geberit Challenge is coming to Glasgow, Birmingham and London, giving installers the chance to test their skills and win a trip to Dubai.
Installers step up to the Geberit Challenge
Competitors will be pitched against one another in a demanding series of tests in the hope of winning the top prize of a luxury trip to Dubai.

Installers will be tested on their theoretical expertise, plus their skill and speed at creating a clean and compliant installation system. In teams of two, installers have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to everyone.

The participants will compete against one another in various disciplines. Among the tasks are a quiz on knowledge of sanitary technology, installation exercises, a creativity and skills test and a surprise task.

A one week trip to Dubai beckons for the winning team and their chosen partners and includes a desert expedition in an off-roader, luxury accommodation and an unforgettable dinner at an oasis.

While places left to enter are limited, installers are invited to come along to watch, and competitors are encouraged to bring supporters to cheer them on at the event that will feature free food and drink and entertainment from Arabian belly dancers.

Simon Spridgeon, product manager (piping systems) said: 'The Geberit Challenge is set to become a regular fixture in installers' calendars. We've already had lots of installers sign up to take part, but even if its too late to participate this year, we know they'll enjoy the free drinks and entertainment if they come along. Think x-factor meets It's a Knockout with pipes!'
