ICS Cool Energy has been added to the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Directory as an accredited supplier, providing independent recognition of the temperature control specialist’s skills and services.

ICS Cool Energy has been added to the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Directory as an accredited supplier, providing independent recognition of the temperature control specialist’s skills and services.

The Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier Scheme recognises high quality energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers. To achieve accreditation, suppliers must meet particular criteria set out by the trust in order to prove they are able to deliver appropriate energy efficient solutions consistently.

ICS Cool Energy’s accredited supplier status will also benefit its customers, who will be able to apply for the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Fund Capital Contribution Scheme. This green energy grant is designed to help small and medium sized companies in England, Wales, and Scotland to identify energy saving opportunities and install energy efficient equipment.

For a limited period on a first come, first served basis, customers with compliant projects are able to receive a 30% financial contribution of up to £10,000 towards selected energy saving equipment, now including all ranges from ICS Cool Energy. Trade customers can even pass on these savings to their own customers through the Green Business Fund. End-users will also have access to energy saving opportunity assessments, funded equipment procurement support and training workshops to help identify energy saving opportunities.

Sales director at ICS Cool Energy, Richard Metcalfe, said: “Delivering energy efficiency through our product portfolio has always been a key priority for us and we are proud to be a Carbon Trust accredited supplier. Finding a suitable and energy efficient temperature control solution can be a complex task so the scheme is of great benefit for end-users who are given clear guidance as to trusted suppliers they can approach and can access the latest energy efficient opportunities and equipment.”
