Hat-trick for JLA

At this time of year heating is at the top of everyone’s agenda. This is also true for the JLA Group which has acquired its third heating business in three months.

Newcombustion Engineering, Trinity Heatcare and Ellesmere Group are the latest additions to the growing commercial heating and air-conditioning division of the business. The three companies, which between them have a headcount of over 100, cover the Midlands, London, North West and South of England. Combined with Glasgow-based William Whitfield, which joined the JLA Group in May 2018, this extensive expertise and coverage is invaluable to the company’s growing portfolio.

As respected brands in the HVAC industry all three companies complement the current JLA offering. JLA understands the importance of getting it right for customers and credits its success with its total care package. This gives customers the commercial heating equipment they need alongside full break down cover for a single monthly payment and no upfront cost.

Helen Ashton, chief executive officer at JLA, said: “The acquisition of Trinity Heat Care Limited, Ellesmere Group and Newcombustion in three months is a huge achievement for us. Adding them to the previous acquisition of William Whitfield, the coverage we are now offering across the UK in the HVAC sector is invaluable to growing our already extensive customer base.

“We’re seeing more and more customers who want that one-stop shop for the critical areas of their business and by building on our own 40-plus years of knowledge with the expertise of the acquisition companies, we can offer them just that.”

Matt Armstrong, managing director at Ellesmere Group, who will continue to lead the Ellesmere team, said: “The team is incredibly excited to have the opportunity to work within the JLA Group. The move will allow us to further develop our existing business, whilst utilising JLA’s structure to grow and identify new business opportunities.”

With over 25,000 customers nationwide across its divisions, JLA has become a trusted partner in providing the critical assets which keep businesses up and running.
