Green tech specialist eyes further growth as it celebrates 15 years in the UK

Stiebel Eltron is celebrating 15 years in the UK by committing to further growth in 2023 which will help boost Britain’s heat pump market.

Established in 2008 in Bromborough, Wirral, Stiebel Eltron UK is now a major supplier of heat pump products and installer training to the industry.

Now in its 15th year, the company is aiming to further grow its presence in the market, with 2023 representing a huge cause for optimism, Stiebel Eltron UK managing director Mark MacManus said:  'With demand for heat pumps increasing, we aim to grow every area of the business in a bid to deliver the latest products and to train the next generation of installers to fit them in the years ahead.

In November last year, the company invested £350,000 into a new state-of-the-art training facility to help inspire and develop the next generation of installers.

Coinciding with the investment, the company fine-tuned its training course so installers receive support during and after the course.

In the year ahead it now intends to invest in its scheme further to ensure a constant stream of well-equipped installers are entering the market who are empowered with working knowledge of the latest heat pump technology.

As well as developing new installers, the company will assess where it can increase its product offering in all areas of the business, from heat pumps to instantaneous water heaters, from taps to hand dryers.

Additionally it intends to further grow its workforce and continue the progression of its staff.

This year the company received certification as A Great Place to Work, achieving a 94 per cent Trust Score after its employees citied the company’s commitment to fairness, pride, and ethics during an anonymous survey.

The firm held a party at its headquarters for employees, while also recognising the relationships it has built over the years by issuing gift hampers to installers with which the company has long-term partnerships with.

Mr McManus said: “Reaching 15 years in a competitive market is no mean feat. This is down to our employees who work tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the business flourishes. Simply put, the success we have enjoyed since setting up in the UK belongs to them.
