Geberit roadshow results in record number of conversions

Geberit has reported that its 2012 roadshow was its most successful to date, with a record number of conversions to its press-fitting system.
Following the On Tour initiative, more than 400 companies have converted to Mapress in the last 12 months.

The company's Land Rover and trailer covered more than 8,000 miles as it visited 33 destinations across the UK, from Liverpool to Taunton and from Belfast to Cardiff, to demonstrate the benefits of its press-fitting system to hundreds of installers.

Geberit's main stockists including BSS and Pipe Center enjoyed a visit from the On Tour team, which also travelled to Scotland to visit several branches of William Wilson and to Ireland, to bathroom specialist Davies in Dublin.

Simon Spridgeon, senior product manager - piping systems, said: 'The Tour provided a wonderful opportunity to meet with existing customers and to convert a new following and we very much look forward to taking to the road once again in 2013.'
