Frese launches new interactive animation for PICVs and new guide for dynamic valves

Frese is pleased to announce the launch of a new interactive animation for PICVs and a new application guide for dynamic valves.

Frese is pleased to announce the launch of a new interactive animation for PICVs and a new application guide for dynamic valves.

The new animation allows users to interact with the Frese OPTIMA Compact PICV, demonstrating how the valve is set to limit the flow rate, how it responds to changing temperature demands and how it reacts to fluctuations in system differential pressure.

The interactive animation uses a photo realistic image of a flanged OPTIMA Compact PICV but the design concept and functionality of the valve can also be applied to the smaller threaded versions.

A new application guide has also been developed to share the knowledge and expertise that has been gained at Frese since the release of the first Frese dynamic balancing valve in 1988.

The guide covers a range of primary and secondary applications in HVAC systems and highlights the benefits and considerations for designing systems with dynamic balancing valves.

In addition to this guide, an extended version will also be available later this year that looks further at system design fundamentals and the application of dynamic valves.
