ESi acquired by Addtech Group

UK-based heating controls manufacturer ESi Controls has new owners with effect from 1 April.

Tristan James takes on the role of managing director of ESi

Addtech Power Solutions, a business area in the Swedish based Addtech Group, signed an agreement  to acquire 100% of the shares outstanding in ESi Controls.

ESi Controls is a UK company based in Buckingham, designing and delivering energy efficient electronic controls for heating and smart building applications.

“ESi will very effectively complement and strengthen Addtech's sustainability initiatives with its focus on providing bespoke energy efficient controls for major national and International OEM’s as well as the building sector in UK,” said chief executive Niklas Stenberg.

Managing director Neil Ewings joins the ESi board as executive director and former UK sales director, Tristan James takes on the role of managing director with immediate effect.

“We’re delighted with the news that we are joining the Addtech Group and it’s great to know we will have the strength and expertise that the Group offers, supporting us as we strive to build this business even further than we have to date,” says Mr James.
