EIC fits out Tesco stores for £1.9m

M&e specialist EIC has completed work in three Tesco Home Plus stores after securing a £1.9m m&e contract.
The projects involve the installation of heating and ventilation systems in each of the 50,000 sq ft stores in Bristol, Edinburgh and Bracknell.

Tesco Home Plus is a non-food store offering homewares, white goods and electrical items. Customers can browse the displays or order from catalogues via podiums that have numbers flashed up on screens throughout the store. The three new stores are now open and trading.

Ian Lyall, joint managing director of EIC, said: 'We have developed a strong working relationship with Tesco over the years. Our aim is to maintain high standards going forward and deliver work which demonstrates our vast experience and good working knowledge of the retail sector in support of the new Tesco Home Plus concept.'
