DRU announces increase in gas wall heater distribution as demand multiplies.

DRU, founded in 1754, is a leading European fireplace manufacturer with a huge portfolio of gas, electric wood and bioethanol fires and stoves. The company is also renowned for its range of balanced flue gas wall heaters, which are widely used for primary and supplementary heating in churches, schools, offices, homes and many other public spaces.

Following the withdrawal from the UK market of one of its major competitors, DRU has stepped up production and distribution of its Art and Style wall heaters and is inviting applications for new stockists from the UK Heating and Ventilating industry.

Niall Deiraniya, UK general manager of DRU subsidiary Drugasar, outlines the benefits of these appliances in comparison to other forms of space heating:

Efficiency: DRU gas wall heaters are typically more energy-efficient than electric heaters. They provide quick heating and often use less energy to maintain warmth.

Cost-Effectiveness: Natural gas prices are generally lower than electricity rates, leading to potential savings on energy bills. This makes DRU gas wall heaters a cost-effective heating option over time.

Space-Saving Design: Their compact size allows for versatile installation, making them ideal for smaller rooms or areas where space is limited.

Instant Heat: DRU gas wall heaters provide immediate heat, warming up a room quickly, which is especially beneficial in colder climates or for quick comfort.

Environmentally Friendly Options: Our modern gas heaters are designed to be more environmentally friendly, producing lower emissions compared to older models or other heating sources.

Resilience: DRU gas wall heaters continue to function during power outages, providing a reliable heating source when electricity is unavailable. They are also available in both natural gas and propane compatible options, so are suitable for remote locations that are not connected to the gas mains.

Thermostatic Control: Many models come with built-in thermostats and settings for precise temperature control, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency.

Low Maintenance: DRU gas wall heaters require relatively low maintenance compared to other heating systems, making them easier to keep in good working condition.

Design Variety: Available in various styles and finishes, our gas wall heaters can complement different interior designs and aesthetics.

Enhanced Air Quality: Unlike some electric heaters that can dry out the air, our balanced flue gas wall heaters maintain humidity levels better, contributing to improved air quality in the home.

These benefits make DRU gas wall heaters a popular choice for homeowners, businesses and community organisations looking for efficient, reliable, and effective heating solutions.

Niall Deiraniya summarises: “2025 saw exponential growth in the demand for our wall heaters, many for the replacement of discontinued models from our competitors.

“Gas space heating will remain a practical option for homes and commercial premises for many years to come, and DRU is one of the most trusted brands in the heating industry.”
