Daikin UK's new display van, showcasing its RHI-ready Altherma air-water heat pump range, began a tour of the UK yesterday (2 April).
Ahead of the expected launch of the Government's domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) this Easter, the van will visit venues nationwide over the next few months, providing advice to heating installers on the business opportunities created by the new scheme.
Commercial director, heating and renewables at Daikin UK, David Lacey, said: 'The tour kicks off at our Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump roadshow events in Bristol and is particularly timely as it coincides with the announcement from the Department of Energy and Climate Change that the RHI is on track to launch before Easter.
'Daikin UK believes that installers are crucial to the success of the domestic RHI. As well as showcasing our RHI-ready product range, our staff will be on hand to offer practical advice and guidance to installers on how the latest technologies can significantly reduce both households running costs and carbon footprint.'
Visitors to the Altherma van will be able to view Daikin UK's full range, including the Altherma hybrid heat pump, the LT Split system, the small Monobloc heat pump and underfloor heating products. Daikin's heating control systems will also be on display.
The van will visit exhibitions, renewable shows, installers' offices, builders' merchants, housing associations and local authorities over the next few months.
