Camfil UK, the air filtration solutions provider, has launched a short survey on indoor air quality for FM, estates managers and building services professionals in the UK.
The national survey explores general awareness and understanding of indoor air quality (IAQ) in non-domestic buildings and the health implications of indoor air pollution in the workplace. It will be promoted across all industries via the UK's leading FM trade associations, industry institutions and trade unions. Clients, building owners, FMs, estates managers and property managers of non-domestic buildings will be encouraged to participate.
Camfil recently highlighted the call for EU action to effectively tackle indoor air pollution and its health implications. 2013 is the European 'Year of Air' initiative, part of a larger effort to push for stronger EU air quality laws and tighten policies to protect human health and the environment. In addition, Camfil celebrates its 50the anniversary this year.
The survey results are expected to give an insight into awareness of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and its health implications in the workplace. Results will be published via the campaign website at www.keepthecityout.co.uk and should highlight the issues arising from the most comprehensive UK review of the subject to date.
