BSRIA has appointed a dedicated press officer within its marketing team to maximise press coverage across all communication channels, build press interest in existing products and services and manage reactive media enquiries.

BSRIA has appointed a dedicated press officer within its marketing team to maximise press coverage across all communication channels, build press interest in existing products and services and manage reactive media enquiries.

Clair Prosser, who joined on 6 July, has been taken on to explore and develop new and innovative ways of communicating with the media, members and stakeholders, create multi-channel communication campaigns and monitor the industry press to produce output on the latest industry activities. Monitoring the latest national and international government policy and the impact of such policies is also a key focus.

Marketing manager, Tim Page, said: “We are pleased to have Clair join us for this crucial role – especially at an exciting time in BSRIA’s history with the 60th anniversary celebrations. The role is critical for increasing BSRIA’s brand communication – both internally and externally.”

A qualified journalist, Clair has 17 years’ experience in trade organisations and a strong background in media liaison, public affairs, policy and lobbying government. Until June, she had spent 11 years with Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. Prior to that she was with the Environmental Services Association (ESA) in London as public affairs executive.
