The statement coincides with an announcement by the Carbon Trust that Bitzer’s Varipack inverter-based compressor control system has been accepted for inclusion on the UK Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) Energy Technology List.
This entitles businesses purchasing listed products to claim 100 per cent first year enhanced capital allowances on the cost of the equipment, providing a significant incentive to invest in energy efficient products.
