BEAMA appoints new installation sector deputy director

Keith Smith is BEAMA's new installation sector deputy director. His key responsibilities include co-ordinating activities across the industrial, single phase and cable management product groups of BEAMA as well as taking the role of secretary to its Anti-Counterfeit Working Group.

Working for over 40 years in the electrical industry, he has worked for Crabtree, Hager, Hanson Electrical (now Electrium), MEM and more recently as sales director for Europe, Middle East and Africa with Eaton.
He chaired its Low Voltage Circuit Breaker Group, was on the EIEMA board, and supported many overseas missions for British industry, including those in Cyprus, Beirut, Damascus and Kenya.
