Are fuel cells commercially viable for providing on-site energy?

A forum to share knowledge among those considering what their options are to reduce their carbon footprint significantly as well as those already actively using fuel cells and other alternative energy sources.
It is aimed at energy director/managers, estate directors/managers, finance managers/directors, developers, architects, planners and strategic thinkers.

The free event which takes place on October 5 2010 from 10am to 4pm, will be at the Technium plus H2 & Solar Centre, Baglan Energy Park, Port Talbot, SA12 7AX.

It will be hosted by hydrogen energy expert Logan Energy with Ynni Glan support, and will introduce key decision makers from energy, finance and corporate departments in the public and private sector to a number of real-life applications of fuel cells.

In fact, those interested in low carbon energy options for large scale applications such as hospitals, universities, retail and leisure sites, data centres and offices.

Attendees can learn from case studies showing the practical experiences of organisations which have pioneered low carbon energy by installing fuel cells in the UK

And energy experts will discuss the latest developments in alternative energy, make their predictions for the industry and share their views on how organisations can best utilise the technology available.

Delegates will discover how fuel cell technology can work for your organisation with open discussions on the practical issues of implementation.

At this free event, delegates will also be able to tour the University of Glamorgan's Hydrogen Centre, which hosts a range of renewable and hydrogen technology demonstrations and try their hand at racing hydrogen vehicles.

Lunch will be at the Solar Centre; itself an innovation in the use of alternative energy!
