Anesco offers free biomass boilers

Energy services provider Anesco has launched a new initiative to offer businesses fully funded biomass boiler installations free of charge.
Through the scheme, an ETA biomass boiler would be supplied and installed at zero cost, along with fuel storage and maintenance. Firms would also benefit from significantly lower heating bills. Reductions in energy bills of between 30% and 50% can be achieved, Anesco says, with properties that currently run on oil or LPG based systems set to make the biggest savings.

The cost of each installation will be recouped by Anesco through the Government's Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.

Medium to large size facilities with significant heating demands, such as nursing homes, hotels, large commercial units and leisure centres, in particular, are being targeted.

Anesco ceo, Adrian Pike, said: 'As we developed our ESCO model, which looks at every aspect of an organisation's operations and how their buildings function, we found there is a distinct need to provide a greener way to heat buildings.'

'Biomass energy is a cost effective solution to this and with the UK's unique Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme... this provides a visionary way of implementing such technology at no cost to the client.'

Businesses that sign up to the scheme will receive an ETA biomass boiler from Innasol, Anesco's chosen supplier.
