Albion offers opportunities for local community

Albion Valves UK has taken on an additional two apprentices, bringing its total number of apprentices in the business to three.

Albion's new apprentices Harry Ellis and Ethan Gregory

Harry Ellis and Ethan Gregory will join the company’s warehouse and international teams.

These additions come as part of a big employment push amid growth the business has experienced throughout the past 12 months.

Albion has a track record of employing former apprentices, with seven members of their existing workforce having started with the business as an apprentice. Harry and Ethan also join Bailey Robinson who is an apprentice working in the company’s sales department. He is already part way through his apprenticeship.

David Keys, Albion’s managing director, said:,“It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer so many opportunities to our local community, during what is such a difficult time for many. We are delighted to welcome Ethan and Harry to the team, with such an eagerness to learn I am sure they will fit in well and be an asset to the company.”

Harry said: “I work to high standards, even whilst working under pressure, so I am very excited to be working in a busy warehouse. I am looking forward to working closely with the whole team, especially those that are former apprentices as I feel they could provide a lot of guidance for me whilst I am undertaking the apprenticeship program.”

Ethan said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to develop my skills set and I am looking forward to working in such a fast-paced business. Working as part of Albion Valves (International) Ltd allows me to learn about the sales side of business as well as exporting, I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
