Aecom confirms new group structure

Six European businesses are now operating under the global brand Aecom and the group's new European management structure has been confirmed.
Aecom, the global professional services consultancy has confirmed Faber Maunsell, EDAW, ENSR, ERA, Earth Tech, and Savant are now fully integrated parts of AECOM.

Aecom's new management structure sees Ken Dalton responsible for AECOM’s 4,500 consultants working in the UK and Ireland, Europe and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States i.e. Russia and certain Eastern European countries).

The regional management team is: Bill Hanway, managing director for UK and Ireland; Chris Hartfield managing director for the EU and David Whitehouse, managing director for CIS.

Ken Dalton, chief executive, Europe, said: “AECOM’s strategic global integration, carried out over the past two years, has significantly empowered the company. We can now apply collaborative excellence in engineering and design expertise to address the world’s pressing environmental and infrastructure needs, and to inform and shape the built environment.”

AECOM in Europe has the resources of 44,000 employees globally. The group offers building engineering, transportation, design and planning, economics, architecture, water, environment, project/programme management and energy consultancy. AECOM had revenue of $6.1 billion during the 12-month period ended June 30, 2009.

“As a client-facing organisation, we have structured a pan-European business model that allows AECOM experts, whatever their skill, to work locally, and globally, to the benefit of the project as well as our business” Dalton added.
