A group of A-Gas employees will be cycling coast to coast for charity to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.
A-Gas gets on its bike for charity
The bike ride takes place from 28 - 30 May along a 140 mile route, from sea to sea across the country from Whitehaven to Tynemouth.

Although the ride is suitable for cyclists of all abilities, it is being tackled over three days giving the riders time to pace themselves and enjoy the route. One of A-Gas' employees who has Hodgkinson's Lymphoma is taking part, and is being joined by four colleagues as part of Team Pink Not Magenta.

Team Pink Not Magenta has already received a number of donations but is looking for further sponsorship which can easily be donated through Virgin Money Giving at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/pinknotmagenta

Ken Logan, managing director, said: 'A-Gas is supporting the bike ride for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK in dedication to staff members and families of those who have in the past or are currently suffering from cancer.'

A-Gas has donated £500 towards the cost of taking part in the event and is also supplying branded T-shirts.

Team Pink Not Magenta has a sponsorship target of £2,000 and is looking for support from anyone interested in the work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.

Details on how to support Team Pink Not Magenta and make a donation can be found at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/pinknotmagenta
