Worcester Bosch and Adey to run water treatment course

Worcester Bosch has introduced a water treatment course in partnership with Adey, designed to teach engineers best practice when protecting and maintaining heating systems.

The ‘Adey’s Best Practice Water Treatment’ course will run on January 30 2020 at the Worcester Training Academy.

Engineers will have the chance to have a hands-on training experience, showing live demonstrations on effective flushing techniques. There will be training talks on the do’s and don’ts of filtration, chemical treatment, the importance of water testing and maintaining a magnetic filter.

There will also be training on the newly introduced British Standards BS7593:2019.

Colin Yearp, senior technical trainer for Adey, said: “The heating, gas and plumbing industry requires a commitment to deliver high quality services. Adey training provides knowledge and hands-on experience that enables you to do just that.

“You are never too old to learn. Gain as much knowledge and training that is available to you because ‘learning is earning’.”

You must be Gas Safe registered holding a current CCN1 and CENWAT qualification, be part of an industry Managed Learning Program (MLP) or an industry apprentice to take part.
