S & P Coil Products Limited (SPC) have introduced the DeLonghi-Climaveneta Commercial range of Heat Pumps into their already impressive product portfolio. SPC have set up a partnership with ICS Heat Pump Technology to supply DeLonghi-Climaveneta Heat Pumps and Radiant Panel Packages to the commercial marketplace.
ICS Heat Pump Technology, who already have a very impressive domestic heat pump design and install service, have chosen SPC because of their existing relationships and stability within the commercial heating and ventilation market.
SPC have been looking to set up a heat pump partnership for some time and when the opportunity came along to work alongside ICS Heat Pump technology, they jumped at the chance. ICS are known as market leaders in heat pump technology with a reputation for unrivalled service and support.
The latest generation of high temperature heat pumps available from ICS have been purpose designed to match the characteristics of SPC's space emitters. Hot water flow temperatures of up to 65°C are possible with the range of high temperature heat pumps which allows them to be coupled to responsive radiant heating panels and fan convectors; heat pumps are no longer restricted to sluggish underfloor heating systems or oversized radiators. Control algorithms built into the heat pumps take advantage of weather compensation to optimise the efficiency of the system based on the type of emitter being used. As the outside temperature increases the flow temperature is reduced to match the reduced load and to optimise the COP and seasonal energy efficiency of the heat pumps. These high water flow temperatures of up to 65°C are achievable with outside air temperatures as low as -12°C.
Warwick Taylor, SPC's Sales Director said 'To work with ICS Heat Pump Technology, who offer a network of approved and accredited UK heat pump installers, is an opportunity for SPC to provide a service which encompasses the knowledge and expertise of both SPC and ICS Heat Pump Technology; creating a partnership that can deliver both service and support for your renewable energy needs'.
Gary Broadbent, ICS's Managing Director said 'ICS are pleased to announce that SPC are our 'Preferred Partner' for delivering DeLonghi-Climaveneta Commercial Heat Pumps and Radiant Panel systems to the HVAC industry'.
Climaveneta Heat Pumps are available in a range of sizes and with a range of features to suit any application. While the heat output of a single heat pump is limited by its size, multiple modules can be banked together to supply heating to properties of any size and construction. All air source heat pumps are available to provide heating and simultaneous hot water with the possibility of summer changeover to provide a supply of chilled water. Models are also available capable of supplying cooling and simultaneous hot water. In addition to the air source offering, ground source and geothermal heat pumps are available within the range, offering corresponding heating capacities.
SPC's range of heating and cooling products are ideally suited to work alongside heat pumps. There's no difference in comfort levels, but huge cuts in running costs above and beyond those directly associated with the use of heat pumps. For every heating or cooling application there is a corresponding heat pump, whether it be a high temperature heating only application or a reversible heat pump for air conditioning applications.
SPC have the knowhow and products to help you select the complete package for your requirements, whether it be a school, hospital or any commercial property, SPC have the answers and guidance to help you succeed.
Robin Wakefield, SPC's specialist products manager has developed a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) presentation on Heat Pumps and how they can be used with SPC's products to deliver an energy efficient heating system that is suited to today's challenges. The CPD presentation has been assessed and is be available as a RIBA approved CPD.
