Sabien Technology has been selected as a Carbon Reduction Partner to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
CDP is an independent not-for-profit organisation providing 'a transformative global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share climate change and water information'.
Some 3,700 organisations around the world measure and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions and carbon abatement strategies through CDP so that they can set reduction targets and make performance improvements.
'CDP is inviting applications for a limited number of companies to become carbon reduction partners, offering technology and services that help reduce carbon emissions across sectors. We are delighted to add Sabien as our first silver carbon reduction partner in the UK,' said Paul Robins, Head of Corporate Partnerships at the Carbon Disclosure Project.
'Sabien has demonstrated strong credentials and has an impressive track record of helping organisations reduce carbon emissions through their technology,' he added.
Founded in March 2004, Sabien Technology supplies technology designed to reduce carbon emissions and energy usage including M2G technology which is retro-fitted to a boiler to monitor the temperature of the water in the flow and return and prevent the boiler from firing if this is unnecessary.
