PACAIR adds Applied Projects to expand customer service

Bespoke design and air conditioning supplier, PACAIR has expanded its range of services with the addition of a specialist applied project team, which will assist customers looking to capitalise on the many opportunities behind the legislative drive towards zero carbon.

PACAIR becomes APS

Formerly a Mitsubishi Electric Value-Added Reseller (VAR), PACAIR has been elevated to Applied Project Specialist (APS) from the beginning of 2021. As an APS, PACAIR is now able to assist customers with the application of ventilation, heating, commercial and domestic heat pumps, heating-only chillers and other applied products in addition to the full range of air conditioning systems.

“We’ve extended our service capabilities so that we can offer our customers a full HVAC service right across the range of Mitsubishi Electric products,” explains director of PACAIR, Nigel Palmer. “We also provide LG and Toshiba products making us a true independent supplier of product and site support services.

“Legislation is rapidly changing and we can also see the market demanding more sustainable solutions to building comfort and energy use, so for us it makes perfect sense to be able to offer increased support to our customers across a complete range of building services solutions,” he adds.

PACAIR offers tailored system design and quality technical support for its customers, from the early stages of project conception through to completion. Former Mitsubishi Electric product manager, Jason Tinsley, joins PACAIR as applied product manager for heating, working alongside other members of the new team.

“Over the past 17 years, Nigel and his team have developed an outstanding reputation for first-class levels of service and work closely with their customers to understand their needs,” explains Michelle Coombe, deputy divisional manager at Mitsubishi Electric. “The expansion of the company’s knowledge into applied products allows them to offer even more individually tailored solutions that can meet their customers’ needs well into the future.”
