Leading wood biomass solutions provider, Euroheat, is pleased to announce that two more products in its extensive range - the TDA Thermodual boiler and Rika Evo Aqua stove - have achieved Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approval.
Gaining MCS means that these products qualify under the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
Wood biomass is a particularly good solution for off-gas customers, the group that is eligible for the recently launched RHPP: The fuel represents a much cheaper alternative to expensive oil and off-gas customers are usually based in rural locations, with easier access to managed woodland, often benefitting from the space required for a biomass boiler and associated equipment.
Wood burning is not only an option for larger homes however - the Rika Evo Aqua is a dual stove and boiler, providing a perfect solution for small properties.

TDA Thermodual
TDA Thermodual: A combination boiler, using pellets and logs, delivering flexibility in fuel choice. Benefitting from automatic operation and the ability to switch between either wood logs or wood pellets, the TDA Thermodual ranges from 15kW to 38kW and has an efficiency of up to 93%.
Rika Evo Aqua: Most stoves currently on the market don't meet the criteria of the MCS. This is not the case with Rika's pellet burning Evo Aqua, which delivers 90% of its energy to water heating. Available in outputs of 9kW or 15kW, with efficiencies of up to 94%, the Evo Aqua is ideal for the more modest home.
