Ecodan CERT funded in deal with British Gas

Coalition claims to be greenest government ever

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which will be launched in June 2011 is a world first and real fillip to an industry that will boost green growth in Britain, according to Energy and Climate Change Minister Greg Barker. He claimed it was likely to provide support for a wide range of renewable heat technologies from household solar-thermal panels to industrial wood pellet boilers.

Armstrong offers energy saving help

Armstrong has published a free eight-page energy saving guide which identifies various upgrade options and their paybacks. Scenarios range from simply replacing a belt-driven pump with a close-coupled alternative (requiring no pipe changes and offering a payback period of around three years), right up to replacing the pump with a new high efficiency unit (which requires pipe changes but offers payback periods within two years).
