Buderus has opened a new £1.5 million training and assessment facility at its headquarters in Worcester.
Included within the new facility is a 100 sq m open plan training area featuring a life-sized single-storey brick building, equipped with a commercial solar heating system. As the facility is also equipped with a high level scaffolded walkway, installers can benefit from a true experience of working with solar panels at height.
Training rooms featuring a range of products from the Buderus portfolio are designed to allow the manufacturer to offer a 'one stop shop' for commercial and industrial training. Installers wishing to make the transition from domestic to commercial can do so by enrolling on the Buderus Commercial ACS course.
Meanwhile, additional courses, many of which can be completed in a day, cover system design, installation processes and commissioning across its range of low carbon heating products and associated controls.
The training centre is heated and cooled by a number of Buderus products, including its CHP system and GWPL gas absorption heat pump and the manufacturer also offers product overview courses on both of these new technologies, allowing installers and contractors working in the commercial and industrial sectors to widen their skill sets.
