Air conditioning manufacturer Airedale has appointed Keith Nicholls as training manager. His appointment follows the company's investment last year in a £250,000 purpose-built learning environment of classroom and workshops.
As a full time, dedicated training manager Mr Nicholls will add another 140 training days to the school's existing 80 days, with 1,200 delegates to pass through its doors this year.
He rejoins Leeds-based Airedale after 21 years working for a Yorkshire-based air conditioning company in various managerial roles including engineering, manufacturing, technical and operations.
In a previous 12 years with Airedale, which saw him promoted from development engineer to compact systems production manager, Mr Nicholls was part of the team responsible for the design and development of Airedale's first 15 - 50kW chillers in 1982, as the company diversified from DX to chilled water products and rapidly became the UK number one chiller manufacturer.
