SRL is one of the most accomplished noise and vibration consultancies in the UK. At our headquarters in Suffolk our permanent acoustic and airflow test laboratory facility is flexible which allows us to accommodate a wide range of products and test set ups and has a team of engineers capable of doing all noise and vibration measurements. Most of our test work is done under the accreditation of a UKAS quality assurance system.
Our capabilities range from planning, performance prediction, design, inspection, troubleshooting, measurement and commissioning. More latterly we have increased our capabilities from noise and vibration analysis to include air tightness, fire testing and consultancy and BREEAM assessments.
We work for a wide range of clients, providing acoustic consultancy, throughout all branches of industry: architectural; construction; building services; planning; industrial; environmental; and transport. We are not tied to any other company and therefore give independent advice.
Our 'tools of the trade' include the latest measurement equipment and computer modelling programs. Not only can we graphically represent noise, such as with noise mapping, but we can also reproduce it so that clients can hear what it will sound like once the building is finished. We are also committed to writing in jargon free, plain English. These have proved to be a great help to those not familiar with our technologies.
