On Thursday 31st March 2011 ebm-papst won the award for 'Marketing Initiative of the Year' for its GreenTech campaign at the ACR News Awards 2011, held at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC.
ebm-papst has picked up the prestigious award for 'Marketing Initiative of the Year' for its GreenTech campaign. This campaign was started to inform and convince both customers and developers of the advantages in energy saving. It set out to drive people to look passed the cost and focus on the long term benefits of EC fans and technology. The campaign was targeted at end users as ebm-papst were aware that energy saving organisations were looking for energy saving suppliers. A targeted campaign was able to form a direct link between its components and sustainability.
