Vaillant gets Which? seal of approval

Vaillant’s entire range of domestic boilers has been named the top-rated GAS boiler brand in the UK after being awarded ‘Best Buy’ status by Which?

The independent survey carried out by Which?, asked more than 7,500 consumers about the boiler brand they own and whether they would recommend it to a friend. The report saw Vaillant rated the UK’s top boiler brand, and named as one of only two brands awarded Best Buy status, scoring strongly amongst consumers for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Which? also surveyed more than 150 of its trusted heating and plumbing engineers on their thoughts on the boiler brands they worked with, looking closely at installation and services, fault fixing and the availability of parts and spares.

Installer feedback saw Vaillant awarded five stars for from engineers for build quality, with installers also singling out how easy the company’s range of domestic boilers are to work with. Here, installers gave five-star ratings for ease of servicing, fixing common faults, and parts and spares availability.

One engineer surveyed by Which? said: “Vaillant is one of the top brands on the market and that’s clear when you look inside these boilers. The configuration of parts is well thought out for the engineer when repairing or replacing parts. It’s a very reliable boiler brand with a very good guarantee.”

Which? Best Buy status is the latest in a line of accolades for Vaillant’s domestic boiler range, which is also Quiet Mark accredited. It follows a busy year for Vaillant, which has continued to support its loyal installers throughout challenging times.

Alice Woolley, marketing director at Vaillant said: “We’re delighted to have been named Which? Best Buy top rated gas boiler brand in 2020. As a business, we remain fully committed to supporting our installers and helping them maximise their businesses. The Which? Best Buy accreditation is an important one, as it is highly regarded and well trusted by consumers; meaning a win for us, is also a win for our installers too.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
