Spirotech heads for success in 2019

Expert in heating and cooling systems and water treatment, Spirotech, has made a number of key appointments and relocated its UK head office to position itself closer to SMEs, contractors and commercial clients.

Sales engineers Mark Hockton and Paul McDowell, who have 40 years’ HVAC experience between them, have joined the team to develop the company’s commercial customer base.

Both have held previous roles in specification, installation and sales.

Mr Hockton, sales engineer for the Midlands, said: “I intend to develop and strengthen new and existing relationships that will contribute to reinforcing Spirotech’s presence in the commercial sector.”

Mr McDowell, sales engineer for the South East, added: “Spirotech is synonymous with effective water treatment for heating and cooling systems; it’s a highly respected brand. I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge of the HVAC industry to the company, as well as creating new relationships in the commercial market.”

Jacqui Kelly has also joined Spirotech as sales support representative, based at the new UK head office in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Ms Kelly has previously held positions in the sales support field as an area sales manager and office manager.

She said: “Over the years I have developed good working relationships with merchants and specifiers; I’m looking forward to bringing my contacts in the heating and plumbing industry to Spirotech.”

Kevan Peaker, Spirotech business unit director for the UK, said: “2019 is off to an exciting start. The relocation of our head office means we are more closely located to small businesses, contractors and our commercial clients.

“The commercial sector is an area which is expanding and becoming a sizeable part of Spirotech’s business. The addition of Mark, Paul and Jacqui builds on Spirotech’s success throughout 2018, for both domestic and commercial markets. We are looking forward to further developing our market share this year and reinforcing our position as a trusted supplier to the commercial sector.”
