SenerTec has bolstered its team of specialists with the appointment of Gary Stoddart as its new general manager.
Gary has spent the last 30 years at Baxi Commercial, joining the company as a Commercial Service Engineer in 1985 with Potterton Commercial. His many roles have included National Service Manager and Technical Manager. Gary’s involvement with Baxi Commercial has meant that he has had an active role supporting SenerTec before taking over as general manager this year.
Gary’s appointment follows SenerTec’s recent brand refresh to reflect its position as the leading specialist in CHP. His aim for the business is to help grow the company’s market share by building on SenerTec’s strong reputation as an authority on correctly sizing and delivering CHP solutions in the UK. Gary also plans to move the brand into new markets with the Dachs Pro 20-ST, which has been developed in partnership with Volkswagen for ease of installation, maintenance and increased efficiency.
Gary comments: “It’s a really exciting time for both SenerTec and CHP. The industry is evolving and we’re seeing more emphasis on low carbon heating solutions, as well as increasing demands placed upon it from new legislation.
“Our challenge will be to ensure we continue to offer a bespoke service for our customers through our team of specialists, with a real focus on maintenance, service and product lifetime support. I’m looking forward to using my many years of experience in the commercial heating sector, allowing me to bring valuable knowledge to the new role.”
Andrew Maclagan, managing director at SenerTec comments: “We’re delighted to see Gary move into a new role in the company. SenerTec boasts a very dedicated and experienced, specialist team and Gary’s expertise will only help to make this stronger.
We are confident he will continue to take the brand from strength to strength and cement its position as the European market leader.”
Gary Stoddart will head up a team of three engineers, four sales managers, a technical officer and a service manager.
With more than 20 years’ experience in CHP technologies, SenerTec has earned its reputation as the leading expert on mini-CHP, with more than 800 Dachs units currently installed in the UK, and over 31,000 across Europe.
