Riello has donated £2,500 to the Macmillan Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.
The money will support the centre’s fundraising for a £2.4m state-of-the-art cancer centre at the hospital. The new extension will help to meet the growing demand for ongoing cancer treatment at Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust.
Lynda Hall, Hinchingbrooke’s lead cancer nurse and Woodlands manager said: “We would like to thank Riello for their extremely generous donation to our appeal. It is heartwarming to see local companies taking an interest, and supporting a project which will benefit so many local people who experience cancer.”
Riello’s finance director John Newman added: “I am delighted to present this donation on behalf of Riello Limited. We hope that this will inspire other local businesses to do the same and help make the new Woodlands Centre a reality.”
