Climaveneta launches upgraded FOCS2 chiller range

Climaveneta UK has launched the FOCS2 family of air-cooled chillers, including the FOCS2 CA-E which offers the highest efficiency on the market for screw compressor chillers and the FOCS2 K which represents the best compromise of performance and cost available. They are also competitively priced compared to the previous FOCS ranges.

FOCS2 models build on the popular features of the original FOCS range while incorporating advanced features to enhance efficiency and performance. They are available in high efficiency versions, both using semi-hermetic screw compressors optimised for R134a refrigerant. All models use a single step evaporator, new condenser coils designed to minimise the pressure drop on the refrigerant side and an evaporator optimised for low water flow with a temperature differential (ΔT) up to 10°C.
 
FOCS2 CA models, in capacities from 311kW to 1543kW, offer Eurovent Class A energy efficiency and include the CA-E ‘Class A Enhanced’ with an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) up to 3.4 and European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ESEER) up to 4.4. Low noise SL-CA and SL-CA-E versions provide noise reduction up to 10 db(A) without compromising total performance. Variable speed fan control and electronic expansion valves are fitted as standard.
 
FOCS2 K models, in capacities from 308kW to 1818kW, are available at a lower cost, with Eurovent Class B/C energy efficiency for projects where capital costs are critical. A low noise SL-K version is also available.
