Oh stop complaining!

Don’t get me wrong. I do not have gangs of paparazzi camped outside the house or cameras thrust in my face when I am relaxing on the beach. However exposure means I get recognised at conferences and everyone knows who to complain to when anything goes wrong which is remotely associated with LG air conditioning.

It appears that if you buy an air conditioning unit from us or have the pleasure of installing or maintaining the product, the first person you need to contact if you have a problem is me.

I quite regularly receive emails and letters of complaint or nice notes asking for compensation, because it was snowing when the unit was installed or completely the wrong unit was installed in a building so it doesn’t work.

These are always dealt with professionally and promptly by my team and I and generally the customer goes away a little happier.

It appears I am not alone in receiving this type of correspondence. Recently while browsing the web I saw a complaint letter to Richard Branson of Virgin. Not being a fan of the bearded Richard, I delved further.

Take a look for yourselves at the complaint here

This is an example of how complaint letters should be written. On reading it, I laughed so hard that I had to be picked up off the floor. I promise if anyone ever writes to me in this style the complaint will be dealt with immediately.

Allegedly Richard got back to the complainee immediately. I'm afraid I can find no reference to what his beardness said.

Perhaps, he was invited round for lunch.
