Remeha reach for the sky
Inhabitants of Croydon's tallest building, the 82m high Altitude 25 tower, are enjoying the comfort, reliability and eco friendly benefits of heat supplied by a combination of Remeha Gilles Biomass and Gas Eco boilers.
This landmark building provides an interesting mix of accommodation. In the tower section, 25 floors of stylish modern serviced apartments present an opportunity for contemporary living in the heart of the town. In the adjacent build, a range of affordable housing is on offer.
Prior experience of the efficiency, reliability and commercial competitiveness of Remeha products, led Vector Design of Stadhampton to select two 360kW Remeha Gilles Biomass boilers to work in unison with five Remeha Gas 210 Eco boilers to supply central heating and hot water to the entire Altitude 25 complex.
Located in the basement, the biomass wood pellet boilers provide the solution to low to zero carbon heat on demand. Monitoring and adjustment can be effected remotely and the boilers automatically light and clean themselves. High combustion temperatures and the extended length of time that the gases remain in the chamber ensure a clean burning process.
Complementing the environmental benefits of their biomass system, the Remeha Gas 210 Eco boilers are high efficiency condensing boilers, free standing and pre-assembled for ease and speed of installation.
Remeha is a world-class company specialising in innovative climate and hot water solutions and services. They have more than 70 years experience in the heating, energy, low carbon and low NOx fields, and are the market leader in condensing boiler technology, quality and reliability. Please see
