New directors at Space Air

New directors at Space Air

Guildford-based Daikin distributor, Space Airconditioning and its subsidiary Space Air Solutions have appointed two new directors.

Mike Nankivell joins the board of Space Airconditioning and Mark Houghton becomes a director of Space Air Solutions.

Neil Afram, founder and managing director of both companies said: "Mike joined us almost 10 years ago and has been key to the success of our pro-active marketing department and new business development activities. He also represents Space Air and the industry as a whole, on various advisory groups. As chairman of the ACRIB F Gas Implementation committee, he has played an important part in disseminating crucial industry legislation."

Mark Houghton joined the company in 1999 and was described by the MD as "instrumental in helping to establish our successful subsidiary company, Space Air Solutions", which specialises in supplying the residential market with Daikin air source heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation and air purifiers.

Houghton left the company but returned in 2008 as general manager of Space Air Solutions. Tasked with developing sales of the Daikin Altherma heat pump range for the residential heating department.

Neil Afram said:"The figures speak for themselves and as a newly appointed director, Mark will be in charge of an exciting expansion programme".
