BSS Industrial turns up heat in Midlands

BSS Industrial hopes to thaw out February's big chill by opening a radiator warehouse in Coventry, in partnership with manufacturer Hudevad.

The Coventry-based warehouse stores BSS Industrial's brand range of radiators - BOSS RIOpanel, and is not far from BSS Industrial's distribution facilities in Leicestershire.

The heating supplier partnered up with Hudevad to launch the BOSS RIOpanel in 2007, for the commercial heating market. In September 2008, Hudevad extended the range by launching the BOSS RIO AEGIS LST, designed for use in care homes, education and health facilities.

Frank Elkins, BSS Industrial managing director, said: "Since its launch in 2007, the BOSS RIOpanel has been a successful product line for us, so much so that to meet our customer order levels, we have worked with Hudevad to secure a substantial proportion of its new Midlands warehouse in which to store the product".

BSS Industrial has a network of 57 UK branches offering overnight delivery.

Elkins added: "In addition to meeting customer demand, the new warehouse means we can coordinate logistics and handling solutions between our other two midlands distribution centres".
