MJN Colston in administration

Major m&e contractor MJN Colston has gone into administration placing the jobs of more than 500 directly employed staff and craftsmen at risk.
The building services specialist has an annual turnover of over £100 million and operates nationally from offices in Gateshead, Blackburn, Coventry, Bury St Edmunds, Croydon, Bristol, Bridgend and Exeter.

It was the first of eight m&e companies to abandon the ill-fated BESNA agreement late last year.
